Privacy Policy

Who this is for
GrowBodi is used by parents to build healthier habits for their child (ages 13-17). Accounts belong to the parent — there is no child login, and your child does not create or control the account.
Information we collect
- Account info: your email address and a password (stored as a salted, one-way hash — we never store or see your plain-text password).
- Assessment info you provide about your child: age, sex (optional), height, weight (optional), activity level, sleep patterns, nutrition habits, a stated goal, and any limitations you tell us about (for example, an eating-disorder concern, a medical condition, an injury, or that your child is already under a doctor's care).
- Ongoing use: daily habit-tracker entries and weekly check-in answers.
- Billing info (paid plans only): handled directly by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your card number.
How we use it
Your answers are used only to compute your child's GrowBodi Score, priorities, and weekly plan, and to generate an optional, AI-assisted "coach's note" that turns those already-computed priorities into a couple of encouraging sentences. We never use your data for advertising, never sell it, and never share it with other parents or families — there is no social feed, leaderboard, or public profile in GrowBodi.
Who we share it with
- Stripe — to process payment for GrowBodi Plus, if you subscribe.
- OpenAI — only if the coach's-note feature is enabled, and only the already-computed priority summaries (not your raw assessment answers) are sent, to generate that note's text.
We don't share your data with any other third party, data broker, or ad network.
Children's privacy
GrowBodi is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information directly from a child. All information about your child is entered by you, the parent. If you believe your child has created an account directly, contact us and we will remove it.
Data retention & security
We keep your account and assessment data for as long as your account is active. Session cookies are cryptographically signed and passwords are hashed with a per-account random salt. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us.
Your choices
Email us to access, correct, or delete the data we hold about your account and your child's assessment history.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date above and, where required, notify you directly.
